IoT&APP TEST ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities

The role is focused on testing the End-to-End functionalities of Mobile Apps and the integration of these latter with Connected Appliances and other Digital Platforms. He / She will be responsible to follow the Test process, including Test Case design, manual execution, creation of fault reports (Bugs).
Moreover, He / She will be able to interface with other Teams (for example Development / Customer Support) by providing precise technical information, useful to fix reported bugs.
Finally, the Test Engineer will be involved, in collaboration with the Customer Support Team, to reproduce and investigate the issues reported on Mobile Apps deployed on the field.

Main Responsibilities:
- Design Test Cases from Requirements / User Stories / Functional analysis / Wireframes by using dedicated Test Management tools
- Review the documentation used as input for test case design: Requirements / User Stories / Functional analysis / Wireframes
- Manually run and document test cases execution according to Test Process guidelines
- Perform activities according to defined deadlines
- Open Fault Reports (Bugs) in a dedicated tool by using templates defined in Test Process
- Collaborate with Development Teams (both Internal and External Partners), and customer support team to reproduce and to investigate the reported issues.
- Collaborate to define and maintain Test Design Tools and Test Environment
- Collaborate with the Test Manager to define and adjust Test Process and prepare test reports

Job Profile

Qualifications:
Essential
- Degree in software/computer science/electronics or equivalent
- Minimum 2-years’ experience as software tester with exposure to designing test procedures
- Ability to carry out a critical review of Requirements / User Stories / Functional analysis / Wireframes that represent the input to test cases design
- Ability design accurate Test Cases based on the product types and related Requirements / User Stories / Functional analysis / Wireframes by using Test Management tools (for example Doors, TestRail, Polarion)
- Ability to find SW defects and to accurately document them in Bug Reports by using tracking tools as, for example, Jira, Asana
- Good knowledge (written / spoken) of English
- Analytical and methodical mindset
- Ability to independently work toward results
- Effective team communication (written and verbal) with both Key Internal and External Interfaces of the Test Team
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with the colleagues in the De’Longhi Group
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Able to travel when required

Desirable
- Experience of testing Mobile Apps (Android & iOS) with connected appliances or other IOT products
- Knowledge of tools for designing and running Automated UI test cases, also no-code type
- Experience in the execution of non-functional test cases, for instance: usability, performance, security ones for Mobile Apps, IoT Platforms and connected appliances
- A good understanding of Agile Software Development methodology (SCRUM)
- A basic understanding of client applications for cloud APIs testing (for example Postman)
- Software Testing certification (ISTQB Foundation Level)
